Frequently asked questions
All questions
Is the water safe to drink?
Yes. It's treated potable water from LCRA-supplied sources, hauled in NSF-certified equipment under our TCEQ public water system license (PWS #1050252).
Will delivered water mix okay with my rainwater?
Yes. Treated water carries a small chlorine residual, which most catchment systems handle fine. If your system uses UV or a carbon filter, it'll treat the blended water as usual.
Do I need to be home?
No, as long as the driver can reach the fill port and any gates are unlocked. We'll text when we're on the way and when we're done.
How many truckloads does a pool take?
A typical 15,000 to 20,000 gallon backyard pool takes 8 to 10 loads at about 2,000 gallons each. The calculator above gives you a closer number for your pool's shape and size.
Can you fill a brand-new plaster pool?
Yes. Coordinate with your builder on timing. We fill continuously so the water line rises evenly, and we can lay the hose so it doesn't touch the fresh finish.
Do I need to chlorinate the water?
Delivered water is already treated, but pools still need a proper start-up. Follow your builder's or pool company's start-up schedule.
Can you get on our approved vendor list?
Yes. Ask for our W-9, certificate of insurance and license details, and we'll send them the same day.
Do you do recurring deliveries?
Yes. Daily, weekly, or by tank level. We'll set a schedule with your superintendent and adjust as the project changes.
Which areas do you cover for commercial work?
Hays County, southwest Travis County, Blanco County, Comal County and the Bastrop area, including Kyle, Buda, San Marcos, Dripping Springs and south and southwest Austin.
How do I get water out of the tank?
Tanks come with a standard outlet valve. You can gravity-feed, connect a transfer pump, or tie into your house plumbing through a licensed plumber.
What ground does the tank need?
Level, firm ground the truck can reach. We'll look at the spot during setup and help pick the best place.
Can I rent a tank for just a weekend?
Yes. Daily rentals work well for events and short repairs.
How fast can you get here?
We prioritize homes with no water, and same-day service is often possible depending on location and the day's route. Call rather than using the form so we can fit you in.
My well is dry. Can you fill the well itself?
We don't recommend pouring water into the well casing. Filling your storage or pressure tank, or using a rental tank, is safer and works right away.
Can you deliver on weekends?
Yes. Book early for spring and fall wedding season, when Saturdays fill up first.
Can you come during an event without disrupting it?
Yes. Tell us where the fill port is and when guests arrive, and we'll schedule around the event.
Is potable water overkill for livestock or lawns?
It's the same truck and the same clean water, so you get a reliable supply with no worries about what was hauled before. Everything we carry is potable.
What's the best setup for a big new lawn?
Usually a rental tank with a pump and scheduled refills. Tell us the square footage and we'll suggest a schedule.
Do you offer net terms?
For established commercial accounts, yes. Ask when you request a quote.
Can you scale up as a project grows?
Yes. We'll plan loads and tanks around your phases and adjust as the schedule changes.
Need water?
Tell us your tank or pool size and where you are. We'll send a price and a delivery window.
